Ice Cream with Integrity
Our handcrafted ice cream is conceptualized, created and churned by Barb Zapzalka, the owner of Pumphouse Creamery, who opened the shop in 2003.
Sourcing natural and organic ingredients and utilizing our local farmers produce is key to making quality ice cream with integrity - honest to goodness ingredients. Each of our ice creams have a story, which starts with using organic cream top (non-homogenized) dairy brought to Pumphouse every Monday evening by Crystal Ball Farm in Osceola, WI.
Whole Grain Milling Company in Welcome, MN grows and mills the organic grains and seeds that we use in our waffle cones such as whole wheat flour, buckwheat flour, sunflower seeds, flax seeds. Hope Creamery butter and local organic eggs round off the good stuff that we use in our cones.
Our own handcrafted root beer is available year round along with a rotating flavor offered during the summer months.
